Meet Sheila✹
I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in the Lower Mainland, BC, drawn to genuine connection and the moments that happen naturally in between. The soft glances, uncontrollable laughter, happy tears, and all the little details you might not notice until you look back.
I got my first camera at 16 with a little encouragement from my brother. Although life took me through different seasons, photography was something I kept finding my way back to. It gave me a creative outlet and a way to hold onto moments that might otherwise pass by too quickly.
I’m drawn to photos that feel warm, honest, and lived-in - the kind that bring you right back to a moment and remind you how it felt, not just what it looked like. I love connection, personality, laughter, and all the little details that make people and their stories different.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me hanging out with my dog, Dobby, relaxing around a campfire with friends who feel more like family, or binge-watching How I Met Your Mother on repeat. I’m also a massive Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings nerd, so if you ever want to talk Hogwarts houses or why Samwise is the actual hero of LOTR, I’m your girl.
MY APPROACH

My approach to wedding photography is all about capturing your day as it naturally unfolds. I want your photos to feel genuine to you - full of the people, emotions, laughter, and little moments that made your day what it was.
While I’ll step in with gentle guidance when it’s needed, I don’t want your day to feel like one long photoshoot. I leave space for you to be present, enjoy the people around you, and let the real moments happen without forcing them.
I’m drawn to the in-between moments just as much as the big ones: the quiet glances, the nervous laughs, the hands reaching for each other, the happy tears, and the chaos on the dance floor. These are the pieces that make every wedding feel personal and entirely your own.
My hope is that when you look back through your gallery, you don’t just see what your wedding day looked like - you remember how it felt.

- I’m currently building my photography business while doing my Parts Journeyman apprenticeship.
- Sunday nights are reserved for League of Legends with my friends - equal parts teamwork, chaos, and questionable decisions.
- My editing process is powered by The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings playing in the background — usually for the 15 millionth time
- I’m always one plant away from needing another shelf.
- I have a HUGE soft spot for sunflowers.
- I’m a big reader and love getting lost in a good book.
